i can’t believe i almost wrote a good review because the staff was pleasant, but the breakfast was absolutely terrible—soup for breakfast? really? also, dirty hair in my bed was a huge turn-off. i certainly expected a welcome drink or special treatment since i chose to stay here. disappointing, to say the least.

The bar service was inconsistent, with long wait times that could be frustrating when trying to get a drink.

No kettle or tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Had to trek down to the bar for hot water, which closes at 10pm. Rooms experienced mold issues, particularly in humid areas, leading to unpleasant odors. Breakfast offered minimal variety with cheaper ingredients, feeling more like a crowded canteen than a pleasant meal. Bar service was inconsistent—had to wait up to 20 minutes for someone to take my order when the bartender wasn’t around.

Breakfast was filling and pretty standard each day. The food on the rooftop was delicious, particularly the eggplant croquettes. The staff were mostly nice and helpful, making our stay enjoyable. The outdoor pool area was relaxing, with a lovely ambiance for unwinding after a busy day.

Wi-Fi could be spotty at times, which affected my ability to stay connected.

I loved chilling by the outdoor swimming pool and unwinding in the sun terrace during my stay. The vibe was super relaxing, and it felt great to kick back and enjoy the sunshine. Just a heads-up, the Wi-Fi could be a bit spotty at times, but it didn't ruin my overall experience! 🌞

Wyndham Garden Cartagena is a fantastic place to stay! The rooms are clean and spacious, with air conditioning and a private bathroom. I particularly enjoyed the lovely breakfast buffet each morning, which provided plenty of tasty options to start the day. The location is perfect, just a short trip to the vibrant areas of Getsemani and San Diego, while still being quiet at night.

There were no significant downsides to my stay.

the hotel's rooftop pool area was stunning. the views from there were unforgettable. housekeepers provided top-notch service daily, keeping everything impeccably clean.

Super comfy stay with great service

The staff was super friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. Loved the bar area for chill hangouts, but had a hard time with late-night snacks since the restaurant closed early. Room was neat and cozy. Would def come back for the vibes!
